The Brazen Head - Ireland's Oldest Pub

During mom's first week here - between Christmas and New Years we went to the Brazen Head pub which dates back to 1198. Aside from being a very well known and cute little pub, on certain nights during the week they hold a night of Folklore and music and guests get to enjoy a nice dinner while we listen to old stories about Dublin in the 1700 and 1800s, legends about faery's and then listen to wonderful folk songs. It was a great night and mom and me had a wonderful evening. The food was nice, but the real treat was getting to engage with the Ireland of old.

Used to be good, but now I'm perfect!
(yes, this pretty much sums me up...)

After Dinner we walked back into the city center to catch the bus and passed Christ Church Cathedral where we ended up spending New Years Eve.
It looks quite haunting at night!
